Pak’s Punjab province lifts COVID-19 lockdown

Lahore:Pakistan(PAK)’s Punjab(PB) area, the 2nd worst-hit within the nation because of the COVID-19 epidemic, has raised a lock-down amidst a continued fall in the amount of positive instances, it has been recorded on Mon..

The lock-down has been enforced until Aug Five around the area in front of Eid-ul-Adha in a bid to include the spread of COVID-19, records The Express Tribune.

However it has been raised on Sun., a day in front of the given date.

In a notice, the provincial health dept. stated all business except those that fall in “negative list” going to be permitted to operate from nine a.m. to seven p.m. from Mon. to Fri.

Punjab(PB) has recorded 24 new instances of the COVID-19 & 4 extra fatalities, as per the govt’s COVID-19 portal.

This took the overall instances within the area to 93,197 awhile the number of deaths has risen to 2,148.

Over 82,000 citizens have recovered from that infection within the area till now.

Pakistan(PAK) has till now reported a overall of 279,966 instances, with 5,982 demises.
